Outfit Of The Day

So for my first post I thought I'd have a quick outfit of the day.
I don't own very many midi skirts, but as you will see I am a big fan of galaxy.

This skirt I found in Topshop sale for £15 and I couldn't pass it up.I then paired it with a plain black vest as the skirt is such a statement.
with shoes I struggled, that's why I don't wear midi skirts. However I found some old army boots which were quite popular this time last year, and I had my trusty frilly socks underneath.

Overall I think this skirt is quite versatile in how the style of a almost pencil skirt it's formal. However due to the big bold print, it makes it much more casual.

I myself wouldn't style this formally, but I were too I'd use some court shoes and black tights. Then on top use a shirt, roll up the sleeves and un button two buttons around the collar.

                  Re creating this look.

you can re create this look with a different midi skirt very easily, in fact there's so many midi skirts around this season there's not one shop I haven't seen them in!

this skirt is also from topshop with a similar galaxy print for £28, but there's many others with floral prints etc which are just as nice.I can't quite remember where I found the army boots, however I know they currently do some very similar from Forever 21 for £34.75 which are similar to Doc Martens but a whole not cheaper.

The vest was from Miss Selfridge a few years back so I can't quite remember the price.I know they do a vest similar to this in Miss Selfridge for £8, but you can get a one just as good in Primark for around the £2.50 mark.

This look could also work really well with cami's or crop tops which are currently everywhere around the high street.

Let me know if you like these ootd posts or if you'll like to see more:)

goodbye for now cuties^.^
