So for my first post I thought I'd have a quick outfit of the day.
I don't own very many midi skirts, but as you will see I am a big fan of galaxy.
This skirt I found in Topshop sale for £15 and I couldn't pass it up.I then paired it with a plain black vest as the skirt is such a statement.
with shoes I struggled, that's why I don't wear midi skirts. However I found some old army boots which were quite popular this time last year, and I had my trusty frilly socks underneath.

I myself wouldn't style this formally, but I were too I'd use some court shoes and black tights. Then on top use a shirt, roll up the sleeves and un button two buttons around the collar.
Re creating this look.
you can re create this look with a different midi skirt very easily, in fact there's so many midi skirts around this season there's not one shop I haven't seen them in!
this skirt is also from topshop with a similar galaxy print for £28, but there's many others with floral prints etc which are just as nice.I can't quite remember where I found the army boots, however I know they currently do some very similar from Forever 21 for £34.75 which are similar to Doc Martens but a whole not cheaper.
